A Global Perspective
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Mark Hemstock moved to Vancouver, BC in September 2005 to attend film school. From there he spent 16 years working as a freelance director and cinematographer working on everything to music videos, documentaries, commercial spots and corporate videos. In October 2021 he relocated back to his home town of Calgary Alberta and has been thriving in his home province of Alberta focusing primarily on television and commercial work.
Throughout the years Mark has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of artists from all different walks of life and backgrounds. His career has also taken him all over the globe and has enhanced his creative eye.
The Proper Production Equipment for Your Film Production in Calgary Alberta
Having the right equipment for the job gives you more creativity, flexibility and production value with your film. Our primary cameras we shoot on are two canon c500 mark ii’s which boast a full frame sensor and can record in 12-bit raw in 5.9K resolution. For lenses, we have a full set of Zeiss CP.2 cine lenses that maintain their sharpness and resolution across their aperture range. Our camera system can be flown on a gimbal or used on a traditional dolly track, or shot with a handheld look using one of our shoulder rigs.
